Hey jury! Sorry I had to send most of you there. Some of you played okay games, some of you are lucky there were so many inactives in the game.
Very early on, I became addicted to the blindside: the feeling of metaphorically bathing in my fellow contestants blood, lying to their allies left in the game, and doing it all with a smile on my fucking face. I started early, with my premerge victim, Hayden. It was a bit of a trial run, I was in an all girls alliance and it felt like no matter what we did, Cali was going to lose next week either way, so why not blindside Hayden and Greg just for the sake of it? It was sort of pointless but it gave me the confidence I needed going forward.
This game really didn't start until the merge. Sure I was already running shit on Cali, but there was no competition at that time. My best move here was getting so close with Kim and Sophie. Nobody knew how close the two of them were to me, and during those first few votes, everyone sort of expected those two to do their bidding, including when several people tried to flip the tribe on me during my idol reveal flop. The three of us were able to obtain information from all areas of the tribe, compare notes, and decide what to do next. We were the only people in the game that knew what was going to happen with every vote, including the Clay "blindside" btw, and you lovely-ish members of the jury just kept letting that happen. Thanks to them, I knew about how my two closest allies from my original tribe had plans at different point in the game to take me out, and with their knowledge, I was able to diffuse those plans with ease. When Tasha was working behind my back to vote me out two weeks in a row, I had other plans that knew would happen as I wanted, so I just let her do her thing. When Greg was telling Sophie how we had to take me out next, I was laughing because I knew he was next instead.
The blindsides I was able to pull off all required quite a bit of lying to all of you. I'm not sorry for that because what I did got me here. I would lie to you guys, vote out your allies, and then lie to you again. it's all your faults for letting me stick around long enough to get here. I was honestly surprised by how gullible people were at times and the moves people thought would work but ended up failing miserably. I even got cocky at times and told people "you have no idea whats going on" and even gave them pieces to try to figure it out, but if they did, they went home anyway.
The three pillars of Survivor are outplay, outlast, outwit. Its obvious I did all those things, but the other big piece of my game was I was able to out-adapt all you flops. I made the biggest mistake in this game, revealing my idol, and got out of it with my biggest target gone and my allies trusting me more than ever. The only downside of that was that I had some loony harass me until I eliminated her too. I was able to adapt when my second closest ally, Kim, quit the game, taking my alliance from an obvious 4 v 2 advantage, to something a bit hazier.
Sophie had been my ride or die since the beginning of the game. Before tribes were announced and everyone was starting to chat a bit, I felt right away that she was someone I would have wanted to work with specifically because we were both so eager to fuck with everyone. I was bummed out we weren't on the same tribe together, but I think that ultimately helped us because nobody knew how close we were until they were unexpectedly sent packing. I'm expecting to get a ton of questions about my loyalty, or lack thereof, but just know: I was never completely loyal to any of you because I was all in with Sophie, and I did what I had to do to get the two of us here to the end together.
I feel like my game is pretty straightforward, but I'm looking forward to explaining more of it to you guys and answering some of your questions.
